The design process for each clothing collection starts with thinking about the textile prints and colors. The inspiration for the prints can come from stories, fables, children’s books illustrations, or a photograph.
All Lotfi products are designed and produced locally in San Francisco. Once the textile patterns have been designed, every step of the production process occurs locally. We are lucky to be able to work with a very talented pattern maker, cutting factory, and seamstress, all located in the Mission District in San Francisco.
